Sounds great! let's help each other. Do you still have my email address? I need to check if I have yours too :-) So great to hear that you are doing that with the teachers. I would love it if you wrote a small blog post here on your ning, so that others can hear about your efforts with the pre=service teachers. What do you think?

I work for the School of Education at the University of New England, lecturing in ICT. My main job is to assist pre-service, post graduate and double degree students incorporate ICT into their teaching. My two passions are the Interactive Whiteboard (IWB) and virtual classrooms, but I also love finding out about emerging technologies. Currently I have two cohorts of students utilising Second Life as part of their units of work. They have been given set tasks to do in the learning environment and they can also attend get togethers where guests have been invited along to show the students what they have been doing with their students in Second Life or similar environments. If you would like to share your experiences with my students, please let me know. We meet in Second Life from 7-9 pm on Wednesday evenings, however, guests are only there for the final hour. Most of the students are new to this type of learning environment.

You need to look at something other than Second Life Stacy. Teen Grid is 13-18 - I suggest you look at Quest Atlantis for that age range, if you don't have resources/program to teach yet. Alternatively you might look at a game - as at that age the...
